Look chic and office-friendly! This time around, we’re looking at summer trends that you can wear to work and feel both ladylike and professional. I hear many women say that you can only experiment with your work outfit in a very creative environment. Well, they aren’t right as you can explore new trends and experiment with your look without going overboard. Just think we spend most of our time at work, right? When should we dress to impress LOL! Don’t stick to the basics, all you need is to find the right stuff that will make you look chic and fashionable. Anyway, read on to see all of my favorite summer trends that I want to wear to work. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
The first item of clothing I wanted to mention are culottes. These bases are great for the workplace. At first glance, they might look like a midi skirt, but in real life they are wide-leg shorts. Combine them with a silk shirt and complete your look with a gorgeous, tailored blazer. The result will make you look and feel great. Why aren’t you in love with white and then wear a white outfit from head to toe? I can guarantee you will look cool and chic. If you want to achieve Lady Boss style and fashionista look, you should opt for a white suit that underlines your individuality and makes you look more relaxed. You can either try on a mohair sweater paired with a midi skirt and complemented with blue shoes, or keep things completely monochrome with a white pant suit. Personally, I keep things modern and feminine by combining a white, elegant top with skinny jeans. How about the shoe trend of the 90s, the so-called mules? You are returning to the fashion world. Believe me, they’re a perfect addition to any office wardrobe. This is an ideal alternative to your office pumps. Try on mules with simple pieces and elegant suits. The next shoe design I want to wear Monday through Friday is lace-up pumps and sandals. They are great for a sassy look. Try them on with your lovely pencil skirt and blazer, or have fun with shorts that show off the lacing detail. Don’t wear intricate designs that look too sophisticated or sultry. If you want to play with a theme, I recommend trying the nautical look. This summer trend is great for office sports. All you need are white, red and navy blue pieces, striped clothes and nautical accessories that emphasize your individuality.
