Native to Angola, Sansevieria cylindrica has tall, cylindrical leaves, in contrast to the flat leaves commonly found on other plants in its genus. Its foliage is dark green with light stripes, adding an element of textural and visual interest to any room.
Indoors, this plant can reach a height of 90 to 120 cm under the right growing conditions. You can display it on shelves, table tops, window sills or any place of your choice! This plant is virtually indestructible and tolerates a wide range of lighting conditions.
Propagating a Cylindrical Snake Plant
The plant grows best by division. To start the process, carefully remove the mother plant from its pot and examine the root ball to identify the natural divisions.
Using a sharp, sterilized knife, cut through the roots to obtain individual sections of roots. Once finished, place each section in a new pot filled with well-draining soil.
